On February 20, Giant FM announced that this year marks the four-year anniversary for Niagara College President Sean Kennedy, who took over just weeks before the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The segment includes an interview snippet with President Kennedy, discussing how despite the challenge of a pandemic, he feels the College has come out of it with the right foot forward: “We’ve had two years of record hiring, we’ve been able to add to our collective bench strength, and that fills me with incredible optimism as we look ahead for the next many years as some really ambitious components of our strategic plan.”
The segment also notes that one of President Kennedy’s goals moving forward is more on-campus student life, which includes building more residences.
