On December 18, CHCH released a segment around the recent announcement that Niagara College ranked as the no.1 research college in Canada based on data provided by Research Infosource.

The segment features an interview with Marc Nantel, Vice-President, Research, Innovation and Strategic Enterprises who discusses how the no.1 ranking and consistency near the top helps the college stand out when attracting future students: “When a student is considering where they’re going to go for their studies they may look at [this ranking] as a sign of quality.”

The segment also elaborates on NC’s four innovation centres and shows footage of the facilities and labs. Also highlighted is the College’s partnership with Miski Brewing in developing a gluten free organic beer – the first of its kind in North America.

Additional interviews in the segment include, Ana Cristina Vega Lugo, Scientific Manager, Food & Beverage Innovation Centre and Chevell Clarke, Research Assistant and Student, Culinary Innovation & Food Technology Program.
