CKTB promoted NC’s Project Brew event taking place December 8.
Craig Youdale, Dean of Culinary, Tourism and Beverage Studies was interviewed in the segment to provide details on the history of the event, preview this term’s event and discuss the current beer industry.
Discussing what to expect at Project Brew, Youdale states, “the event itself is actually a class for the students to learn how to plan and organize a large event, specifically a beer festival. [Students] are involved in everything from social media to aarranging permits…[and] the beers you get to taste are [part of] their final exam in their final production course for the program. This is a big capstone combination of all they’ve learned in the program, and the public gets to come and enjoy it with us.”
