The three Niagara dailies (St. Catharines Standard, Niagara Falls Review and Welland Tribune) shared an article about the work culture and employee opportunities at Niagara College.

The article highlights Vice-President, International, Sean Coote, who rose through the ranks at the same college he once attended as a student, a good indicator of what is possible for people who are contemplating a career at Niagara College.

The article also highlights that opportunities Niagara College offers for employees to expand their skills – combined with an excellent benefit package, a focus on work-life balance and a firm commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion – have contributed to its ranking in the 10th percentile for employee engagement in a recent survey.

Senior VP, College Operations, Pamela Skinner is quoted in the article: “We look for people who are interested in really making a difference in students’ lives. It’s not just about turning out widgets, or adding up a column of numbers.”
