This past Saturday, we welcomed nearly 1,000 future Niagara College students and their supporters to our campuses for Fall Open House.
Welcoming such a large group – more than 2,000 people in total – is no small feat, and I would like to express my deep appreciation to the employees who gave of their time and energy to make the event an incredible success.
As the cornerstone of our recruitment cycle, Open House provides a personalized approach to ensuring future students are able to connect with the areas they are looking to explore. It gives them a glimpse of our beautiful campuses, innovative learning environments, and trailblazing programs; and provides an important opportunity to interact with our incredible people. Thank you for being such welcoming and passionate ambassadors for our College.
I had the pleasure to speak with many students and their families at the event and I was incredibly proud to hear such positive comments at both campuses.
From the Academic Marketplace and Student Services Fair to the school information sessions, open labs and expanded tours, you showcased the academic excellence and wholistic student experience that make NC such a dynamic place at which to learn and work. Many of our unique learning enterprises were also open to guests to further demonstrate what makes NC so special.
