Niagara College Professor in the School of Business and Management Monique Finley was a guest on the City of Welland’s What’s Up, Welland podcast. The episode, released on October 26, promotes the Welland Food Drive on November 4.
Finley is the chairperson of the well-known community event, which has been running for more than 30 years to help stock the shelves of the City’s food banks in support of residents experiencing food insecurity. Food donations will be distributed between Open Arms Mission, The Hope Centre and the Salvation Army.

Make a food donation at NC ReuKnighted on Nov. 3
Donations of non-perishable food items or cash will be collected at ReuKnighted 2023, NC’s alumni reunion event on at the Welland Campus. Items may be dropped off at The Core during the tailgate party on November 3 beginning at 4 p.m., or at the gym entrance during the Knights games. Read InsideNC article about ReuKnighted here.
How to support the Welland Food Drive on Nov. 4
On Saturday, November 4 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. volunteers will be collecting food donations door-to-door in the City of Welland.
Members of the NC community who live in Welland, and who are able to donate, are encouraged to support the food drive by placing their non-perishables items in a visible location on their doorstep by 10 a.m. Volunteers will be picking up food between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
