On October 16, Educause Review released an issue on Cybersecurity as a Core Competency on balancing cost and risk of cybersecurity in higher education.
The issue includes qoutes from different educators globally, including a quote from Chief Technology Officer and Senior Director, Information Technology Services, John Levay: “Niagara College in Canada is participating with others in collaborative approaches where possible to share expertise in many areas of cybersecurity. We do this through our NRAN and local RAN for consistency. We have also been doing group training in cyber topics with other higher education institutes to save costs.”
