St. Catharines Standard: NC helps initiate Indigenous crosswalk in Welland

On August 29, the three Niagara dailies (the St. Catharines Standard, Welland Tribune and Niagara Falls Review) released an article about the new Indigenous crosswalk that was recently installed in downtown Welland.

The article notes that the project, to symbolize Welland’s commitment to reconciliation, came together through the city and sponsors, including Niagara College, and individuals in the community who initiated it.
