A message from Rob Burwash, Senior Director, Human Resources:
I am pleased to share that Jodi Fitzgerald has accepted the role of Director, Human Resource Services, effective August 21, 2023.
Jodi came to the College in 2021 from Brock University having been an Associate Registrar and an HR Consultant. Prior to that, she worked in a variety of other sectors in an array of HR roles.
In Jodi’s relatively short time here as Labour Relations Manager, she has contributed greatly to the HR Team and the College as a whole. Jodi’s knowledge and varied experience is evident in her work. She has quickly established herself as a leader on our team. Jodi’s self-professed inclination towards continuous improvement and efficiency will be welcomed as we continue to strive to meet the College’s changing needs and growth.
Lisa Craig, our current Director, Human Resource Services, who is retiring at the end of the year, will be working with Jodi to transition into this new role. A big thanks to Lisa in this regard, and we look forward to celebrating Lisa’s career achievements in the fall before she departs to enjoy her retirement.
Shortly, we will begin the search for a Labour Relations Manager, with Jodi leaving that position and taking on this well deserved, new challenge.
