A message from President Sean Kennedy:
At Niagara College, our people are our greatest strength, and we are pleased to expand how we recognize you – our dedicated employees – for your longstanding commitment and unwavering contributions to student success.
Through feedback – including the most recent Employee Engagement survey – we’ve heard that recognition should be more inclusive to acknowledge employees for their significant contributions in any role they have served at NC.
We value your feedback, and I am pleased to announce important changes to our Years of Service Program, which has historically recognized full-time employees for reaching significant career milestones.
I am thrilled to introduce the NC ExperieNCe Awards, which will now recognize all full-time, part-time, short-term, and contract employment. This important change ensures that all of our employees are recognized for their contributions to our students and the success of our College.
We are also pleased to be able to increase the award values at all levels in thanks for your dedication and commitment to NC.
In alignment with our Strategic Plan, the evolution of the Years of Service Program to the new NC ExperieNCe Awards supports our efforts to be inclusive and to continue to foster our outstanding organizational culture and strong employee engagement.
As we transition to this new program, COE will be in touch with all those who are eligible for a NC ExperieNCe Award this year, and we look forward to celebrating together at Niagara Day in the fall!
We value the contributions of all employees and the NC ExperieNCe Awards will allow us to recognize and celebrate the diverse ways you make a difference at NC.
Thank you for your continued commitment to our College.
