A message from Vice President Academic Fiona Allan:
I am delighted to announce that effective June 12, 2023, Courtney Evers will assume the permanent role of Associate Dean in the School of Nursing & Personal Support Worker (PSW) Studies. Courtney has been serving as the Acting Associate Dean since July 4, 2022.
Before her appointment as Associate Dean, Courtney Evers served as a Professor in the School of Nursing & Personal Support Worker programs and as the first coordinator of the Nursing Grad-Cert Programs. Prior to joining Niagara College in 2014, Courtney held positions as Assistant Professor, Lecturer and Clinical Instructor at Mc Master University. She possesses both a BScN degree and a MSc (Nursing) Thesis-Based degree from McMaster and is registered with the College of Nurses.
With her extensive experience and qualifications, I have great confidence in Courtney’s ability to lead the team in a positive direction as we embark on the launch of the BScN degree and plan the strategic growth of the health sciences portfolio.
