On June 5, the Niagara-on-the-Lake Local released an article about the Chautauqua Oaks Project that helps celebrate the memory of Christopher Newton, former Artistic Director of the Shaw Festival.
The article notes that the project partnered with the NC’s School of Horticulture to harvest acorns of the Chautauqua neighbourhood’s heritage oaks and the acorns were then germinated and grown in the campus greenhouse.
