Support Team Day is back and registration is open until May 26! We invite support staff to register to join us on Wednesday, May 31 at Club Roma in St. Catharines for a fantastic day of learning, networking and team building activities.
The morning will kick off with refreshments, a warm welcome back and a long-awaited opportunity for support staff to network and re-connect with each other. Employees will then choose from a variety of morning break-out sessions focused on deepening our understanding of our students, broadening our perspectives on how to support their emerging needs, and generating compassion and support for their overall sense of belonging and wellbeing.
These sessions will highlight topics such as putting allyship into practice in our everyday work, understanding our Indigenous students, our unique student body, and supporting the overall health, wellness, and experience of our NC students. Participants will walk away with tangible ideas and actions to better themselves professionally.
In the afternoon, employees will choose from a variety of team building activities such as a bocce ball tournament, axe-throwing battle, hiking the Wetland Ridge Trail, manageable and meaningful self-care for overall wellness, and much more!
Please register for the event here, via Eventbrite. Registration will close at 12 noon on Friday, May 26.
Please note this program is designed for all full time, ongoing part-time, and term certain (I/O or Appendix D) support staff. This event is not open for summer student employees.
If there are extenuating circumstances and you need to request registration after it has closed, or should you have any questions about the event, please contact Carly Sutherland, Employee Engagement & Events Coordinator at [email protected].
We hope to see you there!
