Niagara Falls Review: Niagara College students’ spirits shine at international competition

On May 17, the three Niagara dailies (St. Catharines Standard, Welland Tribune and Niagara Falls Review) and Niagara this Week announced that NC’s Teaching Distillery received three medals at the U.S. Open Whisky and Spirits Championship.

The Teaching Distillery received two silvers and a bronze at this year’s open championship. Its Spirits 101 single malt whisky and Spirits 101 spiced rum finished second place in the Canadian whisky and rum spiced/flavoured categories, respectively. The School Spirits vodka won bronze in the vodka category.
