An April 19 article by Penticton Herald reported on Niagara College’s Project Brew Hops by the Docks beer festival that took place April 14 and brought more than 550 attendees to sample 14 different beers made by NC brewmaster students. The article notes that the student with the best brew won a $4,500 scholarship.
Niagara College Communications Consultant Julie Greco is quoted in the article: “Mark Farrow was announced the winner of the Matt Soos Memorial Scholarship and he won the people’s choice award for his beer, called ‘Responsibility’.”
