Niagara College Knight, Amy Danen, was recently awarded the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Torchbearer Scholarship for her leadership roles with 4-H Ontario and the Oxford County Junior Farmers.
Danen is enrolled in NC’s Carpentry and Renovation Techniques program and is a member of the Knights curling team.
“Amy is a natural leader, and her positive attitude resonates with teammates, opponents and everyone she meets,” said Bryant Karner, Head Coach of the Niagara College Knights Curling Team. “Her hard work and determination are second to none and are demonstrated on the ice, in the classroom and in her community.”
