Niagara College’s Athletics and Student Engagement department is excited to provide 500 NC students with a new tool to help ease anxiety and promote positive mental health.
NC recently partnered with Calm – a leading mental wellness app designed to help users manage stress, sleep better, and live a happier, healthier life – to provide students with a free one-year subscription to the app.
The app is free to the first 500 students who sign up.
“We are excited to offer students access to the Calm app,” said Sarah Singleton, Student Engagement and Leadership Program Coordinator. “Providing students with a resource to invest in their mental health is our investment in them. We want them to feel that they can be proactive instead of reactive when it comes to their personal mental health and this app will help them put their best foot forward during their time at NC.”
NC students who sign up for the Calm app will receive unlimited access to Calm’s entire platform of content including, Meditations, Sleep Stories, Calm Body, Masterclasses and a range of tools for building healthy habits.
Students interested in accessing a free one-year subscription to the Calm app can sign up on NC’s get involved portal.
Please note: there are currently less than 100 subscriptions left.
