A March 23 article in the three Niagara dailies (the St. Catharines Standard, Thorold Today and Welland Tribune) announced that United Way Niagara’s $5-million campaign goal was surpassed by more than $250,000, thanks to the hard work of campaign chair Sean Kennedy, said chief executive officer Frances Hallworth.

President Kennedy is quoted in the article: “I am inspired by the generosity of the donors and volunteers who have not only met the challenge of our $5 million fundraising goal, but dug deep to exceed it.”
