On International Women’s Day (March 8), InNiagara reported on five new student-crafted, Pink Boots (a non-profit program that supports women in the brewing profession) beers that debuted at NC’s Teaching Brewery, three of which featured recipes created by female students.
While the College has been involved with the Pink Boots initiative which highlights female brewers since 2020, this was the first time that Brewmaster students were able to celebrate their Pink Boots beers actually being released on International Women’s Day.
