The three Niagara dailies (the Welland Tribune, St. Catharines Standard and Niagara Falls Review) and Niagara this Week reported on NC’s Feed the Community program where student volunteers help Chef Professor Olaf Mertens create meals that are delivered to charities dealing with food insecurity among Niagara’s population.

The article also mentions that the program recently received recognition at the provincial level when Minister of Colleges and Universities Jill Dunlop presented Mertens with an Award of Excellence.
