On February 19, the three Niagara dailies (the St. Catharines Standard, Niagara Falls Review and Welland Tribune) reported on Julia’s Hope Cup, a ball hockey tournament  that helps assist households in Welland from the disconnection of heat and hydro, provide emergency food for individuals accessing their food bank and provide nourishing meals through their community lunch program.

The article highlights that Culinary Professor, Michael Olsen and his wife, celebrity chef Anna Olson were serving chili and hot chocolate at this year’s fundraiser event and have been supporting the event for at least 10 years.
