A February 9 article in the three Niagara dailies (the St. Catharines Standard, Niagara Falls Review and Welland Tribune), Hamilton Spectator and Toronto Star published an article on Niagara’s Turkish-Canadians raising donations for earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria.
Niagara College Chef Professor Avi Hollo, who came to Canada from Istanbul in 1983, was interviewed in the article on how he has been in contact with other Turkish-Canadians in Niagara to see what assistance the community can offer.
