A February 10 article in Ottawa Magazine reported on Ottawa’s Merry Dairy ice cream shop’s recent challenges with a compliant inspection report from Ontario’s Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA).
The article notes that Professor and Program Coordinator of NC’s Culinary Innovation and Food Technology programs, Amy Proulx, is helping Merry Dairy throughout their experience to build a robust argument so that a case can be made for the company to test how wholesale could work in the Ottawa area.
