On December 21, the three Niagara dailies (St. Catharines Standard, Niagara Falls Review and Welland Tribune) released an article on Niagara-on-the-Lake’s ‘DND lands,’ mentioning Dean, Al Unwin’s recent participation at the COP15 conference on biodiversity.
The article quotes Al Unwin: “Sometimes I think biological diversity, that term, is somewhat lost and we need to speak in simpler terms. I like to say it’s nature. It’s living furry animals that we’re about to see upwards of a million of them could be lost over the next two decades.”
