Education News: NC Board of Governors elects new chair, vice chair; welcomes new members

Education News Canada shared NC’s release announcing new appointments to its Board of Governors for the 2022-23 academic year.

Mishka Balsom, CEO of the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce, is the Board’s new Chair, and Caroline Mann, former Vice-President of Finance for Haver & Boecker Canada (W.S. Tyler) was re-elected for a second term as Vice-Chair.

The College also appointed six new Governors: Rashmi Biswas, co-owner of Lake and Associates Canada Inc., Rob Nicholson, former Member of Parliament who has served in many high-profile roles at the federal level, Hafsah Shaikh, Associate Director of NC’s Student Rights and Responsibilities Office, Nick Farnell, faculty member in NC’s School of Business and Management, Kate Hagen, NC Co-op Career Consultant, and Dipal Patel, a student in NC’s Autism and Behavioral Science program and graduate of the Exercise Science for Health and Performance program.
