This fall, Niagara College’s Health, Wellness and Accessibility Services (HWAS), in collaboration with Athletics and Student Engagement, is hosting weekly, in-person Meditation Mondays at the Welland Campus in A205 (upstairs in the fitness centre) from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Sessions are being led by NC’s Michelle MacIntosh, Counsellor in HWAS, who brings along her dog Teddy – NC’s resident therapy dog.
All students and employees are welcome to drop-in each week – registration is not required.
Mindful meditation is a great way to start each week and can help reduce stress and anxiety, increase calmness and relaxation, and improve concentration, physical and psychological well-being.
