An article in the three Niagara Dailies and The Peterborough Examiner featured United Way Niagara’s firetruck pull event, held on Sept. 14 to kick off the charitable organization’s 2022 community fundraising campaign.

At the event, NC President Sean Kennedy, who is the United Way’s 2022 Campaign Chair, helped announce a fundraising goal of $5 million. He is quoted in the article on the significance of the campaign:

“We are a caring, compassionate community and Niagarans understand there is significant need, over 123,000 of our fellow citizens were helped last year through the United Way. The Niagara community, our corporate sponsors, our workplace campaigns and caring, giving individuals will step up and enable us to achieve our $5 million campaign goal.”
