Thirve@NC offers support to students who may be struggling.

Thrive@NC – a program for students who have experienced difficulties at school to learn how to thrive academically and personally – is being offered weekly this fall throughout September and October.

Registration is now open for weekly sessions on Tuesday’s beginning Sept. 20 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Wellness Lounge (N002) at the Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

The Thrive@NC program is offered by NC’s Health, Wellness and Accessibility Services and is designed to build and enhance resilience in students. At the heart of Thrive@NC is the Five Factor Model of Resilience comprising gratitude, optimism, self-compassion, and grit, with mindfulness at the very core. Along with the Thriving Strategy each week, we will be covering a Learning Strategy – see the details below for the outline of topics.

Our goal is to help students thrive, both academically and personally.
