A message from Rick Anderson, Vice-President, Student Affairs:
With Lianne Gagnon, our Sr. Director of Student Services, retiring as of August 18, I am writing to provide a brief staffing update. The searches for the positions of Sr. Director, Student Services and Wellness, and Sr. Director, Libraries and Academic Support Services, are underway and we anticipate interviews will take place early in the Fall semester. While these searches are underway, Jay Burdon, Director – Health, Wellness and Accessibility, Daniel J. Patterson Campus, will serve as Interim Sr. Director of Student Services, assuming responsibility for Lianne’s existing portfolio.
Once again we extend thanks and gratitude to Lianne for her years of dedicated service to Niagara College and to our students, and wish her great happiness as she launches into the many adventures she has planned. And a big thank you to Jay as he steps into this interim role while we work to fill the two new Sr. Director positions.
