Employees can now submit feedback via the online employee consultation survey!
Consultations will take place throughout April and May for staff, faculty and students.
NC’s Diversity and Inclusion Taskforce – a joint effort by Niagara College and NCSAC – have reached an exciting juncture in their work on an equity, diversity and inclusion strategy: They want to learn from employees and students through consultations.
The draft strategy highlights Niagara College’s commitment to providing accessible education and employment opportunities through policies, programs, and resources that promote equity, diversity, and inclusion across our college community.
To identify concrete actions that will allow them to put this vision into practice across six strategic priority areas, staff, faculty and students are invited to join the consultations throughout April and May.
Employees have been invited to attend virtual consultations within their departments, however there are also open employee consultations to ensure that an employee who might be away during their team consultation can still share their perspective. Consultations are one hour in length and will provide participants with the chance to share their ideas and feedback on how to increase equity, diversity and inclusion at Niagara College, where all members of our community are heard, valued and supported.
Students are being invited to attend their own virtual consultations before the end of term.
The infographic below illustrates how the information collected from consultations will be used to inform the final EDI Blueprint for Niagara College.
