On April 11, Rick Vansickle with Wines in Niagara featured the 15th edition of NC’s Caps, Corks and Forks event, which took place on April 9 at the Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
During the event, students from NC’s wine and beer programs square off to offer their best pairings to accompany a five-course dinner prepared by culinary students. Guests vote on their favourite pairings and the winner takes home the title.
The coverage highlights the pairings offered at the April 11 event and includes photos of the tantalizing courses. By the end of the night, wine was voted the winner with 317 votes compared to beer’s 281 tally.
