On March 29, Water Canada shared Walkerton Clean Water Centre’s news release, which includes a QA with NC Environmental Technician co-op program student Lindsay Taylor.
Taylor was among a group of NC students who took part in the Centre’s Operation of Conventional Treatment Processes (OCTP) course. The three-day course gave students the chance to operate, monitor and troubleshoot a pilot conventional drinking water treatment plant.
In the release, Taylor talks about her course experience and explains how it complemented the concepts she is learning in the NC classroom to help prepare her for a career as a drinking water operator.
