NC’s Canadian Food and Wine Institute at the Aurora Armoury is mentioned in a March 12 article in Newmarket Today.
The article includes a comment from Town of Aurora Economic Development Officer Lisa Hausz about how the CFWI’s presence at the Armoury will help attract tourism to the area. She notes how the partnership will help “in attracting a major food competition and all accessory attractions that we can get from that – it will fill hotels, it will have people in the downtown, and it is definitely an opportunity we’re looking forward to.”
