Niagara College is inviting partners and prospective students from around the world to tune into 25 hours of non-stop virtual action during NC International’s Countdown to Open House event.

Taking place March 18 at 7 a.m. to March 19 at 8 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on Zoom, the event will offer a glimpse into what life is like as a NC student and showcase what living and working in Niagara could look like.

Based on the College’s Worldwide Application Days, the event portrays NC’s welcoming, trailblazing, and passionate spirit. Those virtually attending the event, will get a chance to meet NC team members located around the world, current NC students, alumni and NC partners, and learn about preparing to come to Niagara, following the NC journey and living and working locally while engaging in life outside of the classroom.

Striving to support students in achieving their dreams, NC’s Countdown to Open House aims to ensure prospective students are prepared and equipped with the knowledge and tools to have the best possible experience in and out of the classroom while studying at Niagara College.

Immediately following the Countdown to Open House event, NC International will kick off Niagara College’s Virtual Spring Open House event, taking place on March 19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with an International Session from 8 to 11 a.m. EST.

“Niagara College’s Open House is a great opportunity to explore the exciting opportunities that await students who come from all over the world to pursue their passions,” said NC’s Director of Global Engagement, Holly Catalfamo, EdD. “There are so many exceptional areas to explore across the College and our International team cannot wait to meet prospective students and their families. Open House is such a unique opportunity to ask questions and connect with Niagara College’s incredible team.”

During the kick-off, attendees will experience a talk show style session called “Late Night, Early Morning, Good Afternoon” with NC’s Associate Director of Global Business Development, Scott Slaney. The event will also feature an International Student Services and Be World Ready segment hosted by NC’s Director of International Gary Torraville and NC’s Associate Director of International Student Services Maxine Semple. To ensure prospective students get the most out of NC’s Spring Open House, the International Session will also include a Question and Answer (Q&A) Open House Overview and International Open House Room.

“The Spring Open House is an incredible opportunity to learn more about Niagara College’s community, the facilities and the wide range of programs that students may choose from,” shared Torraville. “A comprehensive program has been designed to ensure potential students have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the NC difference. We look forward to sharing more information for our aspiring students and helping them achieve their dreams!”
