Niagara College looks forward to welcoming students, staff and faculty back for the second half of the Winter 2022 Term when classes resuming both virtually and in-person on Monday, March 7.
As announced previously, the second half of the Winter term will see a gradual increase in on-campus activity.
While the provincial government eases certain COVID restrictions, our on-campus safety measures remain in place, including controlled access, mandatory daily online screening, mandatory medical-grade masks, and mandatory vaccination. Physical distancing is encouraged and enhanced personal protective equipment (PPE) is available upon request in settings where physical distancing cannot be maintained.
Food services and cafeterias will be open at both the Welland Campus and Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. with limited offerings. The level of food service provided will be based on demand. The Shack (Welland Campus) and The Undergrounds (Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake) will also be open.
The cafeteria will operate according to provincial guidelines for indoor dining at food establishments, with no limits on seating. Please be respectful to others when using the cafeteria, donning your mask after eating and wiping down your space.
Designated campus access points are available on the Return to Campus website: niagaracollege.ca/covid19/ncsafe/accesspoints. A note that parking lot G at the Welland Campus is now open, as well as the lot G entrance to the Applied Heath Institute.
