In a December 8 article, the Brewers Journal highlighted NC’s successes at the 2021 U.S. Open Cider Championship.
NC took home two medals at the competition, which drew more than 270 entries: a gold medal in the Modern Cider – Dry category for its popular Cider 101 and a silver medal in the Fruit and Berry Cider category for a small batch product called Les Marmitons Gastronomy Cider. The piece also mentions that NC was the only college and the only Canadian cider producer to be ranked among the competition’s coveted Top 10 Cideries for 2021 list, where it was listed as tied for ninth place.
