A message from Pam Skinner, Senior Vice President, College Operations:

It is with mixed emotions that I share with you that Ralph Scholz has announced his plans to retire as of March 31, 2022.

Ralph has been the Director of FMS since October 2014 providing strategic leadership to the College on many fronts, including the implementation of our $65M Campus Redevelopment project, which created new and revitalized campus facilities to support growth, enhance the student experience, and expand Niagara College’s research and innovation capabilities. Check out the many projects at the Campus Redevelopment website!

With a commitment to sustainability, accessibility and meeting the needs of our students, Ralph has brought knowledgeable and calm leadership to our competent and service-oriented FMS team, and fostered a culture of continuous improvement and cross functional engagement that is responsive to immediate needs while keeping an eye on the future.

Ralph will leave big shoes to fill, and the College will immediately commence a recruitment process.

Stay tuned for a plan to celebrate Ralph’s significant contributions to Niagara College and wish him well in his retirement in the spring.
