Gord Howard with the Niagara Dailies wrote about the vaccination rate for Niagara College and Brock University, reporting that the College has hit 99 percent vaccination among students and employees.
In the article, NC’s Corporate Communications Manager Michael Wales provides commentary. He notes that the response has been positive with about 1,250 employees submitting proof of full vaccination ahead of the Oct. 18 deadline. Amongst the 5,400 students attending campus during the Fall Term, the article mentions that only 21 did not provide proof of vaccination and that about 200 students have submitted proof of one vaccine dose. Wales notes that NC’s academic advisors are working with these students to discuss their academic options.
