Nation Talk: Niagara College Board of Governors welcomes new members, chair and vice chair

On October 15, NationTalk, Canada’s premier Aboriginal newswire, shared NC’s release announcing new appointments to the College’s Board of Governors.

Wendy Wing, Senior Vice-President of Finance and Administration for Rankin Construction Inc. and Port Colborne Quarries Inc., and President of Rankin Renewable Power Inc., is the College’s new Chair, while Caroline Mann, former Vice-President of Finance for Haver & Boecker Canada (W.S. Tyler), is the new Vice-Chair.

The pair began their term on September 1, along with four new members who have joined the College’s Board: Andrew Harber, CEO of Abatement Technologies; Becky Sciliberto, NC’s International Finance Coordinator who is the Support Staff Representative on the Board; Kevin Smith, Chief of Niagara Emergency Medical Services (and NC alumnus); and Lora Tisi, most recently president of RW and Co. (and NC alumna).
