Bernd Franke with the Niagara Dailies wrote an article about the Knights women’s soccer team and their perfect 5-0 start to the regular season. The team’s success has earned them a no. 8 national ranking with the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA), the highest-ever ranking for the NC Knight’s women’s soccer program.
Head Coach Rob Lalama is quoted in the article on the team’s success: “We’ve put an emphasis on recruiting the best players in Ontario. With the success we’ve had, we’ve also been able to change the culture of our program. We now expect to be competitive with the best teams in Ontario.”
