On October 1, the Niagara Dailies featured an article about four new spirits from Niagara College’s Teaching Distillery that are available for purchase at the College’s Wine Visitor + Education Centre. The new releases – a Chocolate Porter Liqueur, Apple Brandy, Rabarbaro Amaro and Twisted Berry Gin – were made in small batches of about 200 bottles by students in NC’s Artisan Distilling program.

The article includes comments from student Marye Anne Chisholm, who co-created the Chocolate Porter Liqueur, NC’s Head Distiller David Dickson and Steve Gill, General Manager of NC’s Learning Enterprises.
