CKTB: NC student crafted spirit earns US Open Whiskey and Spirits Competition bronze

Newstalk 610 CKTB reported that Niagara College graduates earned bronze at the US Open Whiskey and Spirits Competition for their honey spirit known as Ambrosia.

The award-winning spirit, which can be purchased at the Niagara College Wine Visitor + Education Centre or online at ncteachingwinery.ca, was made in collaboration with honey produced by students in the College’s Commercial Beekeeping program.

NC’s head distiller David Dickson is referenced in the article, noting the College’s Ambrosia as one of the few honey-based spirits made in North America.
