A Message from Sean Coote, VP International:
It is with mixed emotions that I announce that Kyla Pennie will be leaving the College after 20 years. Kyla will be joining Brock University as the associate director, Internationalization and Support Services.
Kyla joined the College in 2000 as an international project specialist. Kyla eventually became the Manager, International Projects where she led her team through many successful global projects and spearheaded the Be World Ready program. Along with Kyla’s passion for gender equity, technical and vocational education and training (TVET) reform and inclusive skills development, she has worked tirelessly to build relationships in our community, nationally and around the world, which has no doubt laid the foundation for our future work. We look forward to working with Kyla in her new role.
Kyla’s last day will be Wednesday, July 22 and I will be working closely with her on a transition plan prior to her departure.
Please join me in thanking Kyla for her contributions and wishing her well on the next part of her professional journey.
