Reporter Kris Dubé shared news of a special milestone for Niagara College during their Spring Convocation 2021: reaching 100,000 graduates.
Emily Gushue of Ridgeway, the 100,000th graduate, received her diploma in NC’s Community and Justice Services program. In advance of the June 22 ceremony, the College surprised Gushue at her home with the news and an impromptu photoshoot in a grad gown.
Following graduation, Gushue will begin working at THE RAFT, Niagara-based organization supporting troubled youth.
She joins the network of over 100,000 NC alumni worldwide.
