Please be advised that effective Wednesday, May 26, 2021, additional construction changes are in place at the new interchange of QEW/ Glendale in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Students and staff should allow for extra time when travelling to the Niagara-on-the-Lake campus.
Construction updates
QEW Niagara bound off-ramp to Glendale Northbound detour
- Traffic heading QEW Niagara bound to Glendale Northbound will be using the new detour ramp.
- The existing ramp to Glendale Southbound will be a shared ramp for access to both Northbound and Southbound Glendale.
- A new signalized intersection will be installed for the detour ramp.
- The exiting ramp location for Glendale Northbound will be permanently closed.
New location for the Glendale Northbound and Southbound on-ramp to QEW Niagara bound
- The new detour on-ramp location to QEW Niagara bound will be shifted further south toward Glendale East Avenue.
- Glendale Northbound and Southbound will both share the same ramp entrance.
- Existing on-ramp entrance to QEW Niagara for both Glendale Northbound and Southbound will be permanently closed.
