On April 16, Niagara College president Sean Kennedy was among more than 70 leaders from across Niagara who signed an open letter to the community from Niagara Health, lending support to the hospital’s frontline healthcare workers and urging the community to follow public health guidelines as the COVID-19 situation in Niagara escalates.
In the letter, Niagara Health states that it is “experiencing unprecedented pressures and needs our community’s support to help protect capacity for life-saving critical care and other patient services.” Our local hospital system also urges “every member of our community to follow public health guidelines 100% of the time” to save lives.
