Niagara College is inviting the world to tune in online as it gets ready to host the 2021 Niagara College Canada Worldwide Application Days (NCCWAD) from April 13 to April 17.
With 111 hours of nonstop virtual engagement activities and 222 sessions broadcasted around the world, the event offers a range of live tours, demonstration classes, information sessions, student success stories and open question and answer periods. Educational partners and prospective students will have the chance to meet incredible Canadian leaders, professors and students as they share why NC and its Canadian and global campuses are the best places to live, study and work.
Service and academic areas from across the College are coming together to showcase NC on the world stage, demonstrating the College’s NC DNA of being welcoming, passionate and trailblazing.
Event attendees can look forward to live tours and special presenters including the mayors of Niagara Falls, St. Catharines and Welland. Other community and corporate partner session highlights include events hosted by Niagara Falls Tourism, Niagara Regional Police, Welland Fire and Emergency Services, CIBC, Guard.me International Insurance and many more.
In addition to learning how to apply to NC and connecting with NC representatives around the world, those attending NCCWAD will also learn about NC’s global campuses in China, South Korea, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Canada’s three locations in the Niagara Region and Toronto.
NCCWAD offers a variety of other benefits for prospective students interested in applying to NC during the five days of the event, including NC scholarships, a special event promotional code to waive application fees and other prize giveaways.
The purpose of NCCWAD is to share NC’s passion for education with the world and showcase how the College can help students fulfill their dreams. Additionally, the event creates an opportunity for prospective students to hear from community leaders, N C’s world-class faculty, experts in services for international students and many more.
Last year marked the first year the event was held. The three-day event attracted over 11,000 attendees from 106 countries and consisted of 66 hours of engaging information sessions, sample classes, campus and community tours and special presenters. In typical NC spirit, the College hopes to make this year bigger and better, inviting more partner involvement and growing the event from three-days to five and 66 hours of engagement to 111 hours.
