Education News Canada shared NC’s release about three NC Broadcasting – Radio, Television and Film program alumnae who were part of the NBA’s first all-female broadcast crew for a Toronto Raptors game on March 24.
As one of the on-air personalities, Amy Audibert (BRTF, 2012) hosted and provided analysis alongside three other women for the historic broadcast: TSN host Kate Beirness and reporter Kayla Grey, national women’s team member Kia Nurse, and play-by-play broadcaster Meghan McPeak.
Kristyn Taras and Kianna Klauck, who graduated from the BRTF program in 2017, worked behind the scenes for Dome Productions with Taras as the second engineer on the broadcast and Klauck providing graphic support.
