Bernie Puchalski with BPSN wrote about an April 9 virtual event being hosted by Niagara College, the Niagara 2022 Canada Summer Games and the Canada Games Council that will explore the concept of sustainability in sport.
The event will feature a keynote address and two live panel discussions with a roster of industry experts who will discuss climate change and sport in Canada, as well as the future of sport and sustainability and the newness of the topic.
NC’s associate director of Athletics and Recreation Michele O’Keefe is quoted throughout the piece, commenting on the event’s high interest so far, its main target audiences and a segment geared to construction students that will focus on how sports facilities are built.
