The Daily Record, a newspaper based in Glasgow, Scotland, reported on a recently signed Memorandum of Understanding between Niagara College and New College Lanarkshire in Scotland in an article entitled “New College Lanarkshire links up with Canadian college.”

The partnership between the two institutions will allow students, faculty and staff the opportunity to benefit from best practices in both Scotland and Canada’s applied education system. The collaboration will begin with a project focused on the development of a formal award in sustainability, aligned to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The article includes a comment from NC’s vice president, International Sean Coote who notes, “I believe this will mark the beginning of a mutually beneficial partnership as New College Lanarkshire and Niagara College both support students in transforming their passion into a thriving career through an education deeply rooted in industry. This new agreement demonstrates Niagara College’s continued commitment to creating culturally and globally engaged staff and students.”
